Final words of Charles Lindbergh
“Now, Doctor,” Lindbergh asked that Sunday night, “is the calibre of the oxygen tube really large enough to supply me with the amount of oxygen I need?” In fact, it was not, as the lymphosarcoma was filling his lungs. Later that night, reaching over to adjust a valve to get more air, his arm dropped and he drifted into a coma.
